Achaderry Estate and Farmhouse holidays
Coronavirus Cleaning update
In view of the current situation, we have updated our cleaning specification from our normal anti bacterial clean to an anti-virile clean.
Hi I’m Tim, my wife Wendy and I run Achaderry Estate. We just want to tell you a little of why we love Achaderry so much.
When you drive into Achaderry estate and approach the farm house the first thing you see is the view. Like us you will just look at the view and say ‘wow that is just so amazing’.
You are off the main road (a single track road) and realise how safe it all is for the children.
Then you get out the car and all you hear is the silence, you can feel it. The 400 acre estate is just waiting to be discovered.
Farmhouse holiday accommodation in Scotland
The farmhouse was built about 1800 and has been tastefully restored so that you can have a fine self catering holiday in the Outdoor Capital of the UK. The Hot Tub is an added bonus so that you can relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery or watch the sky sports on the 40 inch TV whilst totally chilling out. The log fire add to the atmosphere of well-being. The log bin is always full so enjoy. The Aga in the kitchen gives you the feel of the farmhouse at its best.
Check out the accommodation, nothing has been left out. We are certain you will be knocked out when you stay in our farmhouse self catering near Fort William, Nevis Range and Ben Nevis.
About our Highland Estate
The estate has tracks for ‘off road’ biking or walking, it has woodlands for roaming, and lochans to watch the ducks in their natural habitat, or picnic by, or even have a BBQ. All the time you can feel the calmness, and maybe see the deer standing looking at you from afar.
In the summer the silver birch look so elegant gently swaying like a pendulum as they show off their so thin branches supporting their almost round leaves. Autumn time at Achaderry is just colour and more colour.
Don’t take our word for it!!
